Acoufelt provides acoustic solutions for working, learning and living spaces. They aim to eliminate compromise by designing for the ears and eyes.

I was tasked with creating a brochure to showcase their QuietBack carpet tiles. The goal was to elevate the product against competition – presenting it as a sophisticated and elegant solution for the potential customer’s acoustic needs.

Inspired by the likes of Apple and other luxury brands, the team had the idea to present the product floating in negative space. Without a photo studio as a resource, I undertook product photography in their office utilising a single remote camera flash and large clips to position and fasten the carpet tiles.

Diagrams and icons were also created to succinctly convey information. The design outcome utilises negative space and a simple layout to give the content room to breathe and enabling the product photography to be front and centre.
